Apex Agri Systems delivers high-efficiency, no compaction drone solutions for modern farming. From precision crop spraying to multispectral field mapping, we help you reduce input costs and crop damage.

Improve margins and change the way you spread, spray or shade. We offer a cost effective solution to help save time and cost.

A smarter way to spray, maintain and manage your land or assets.

Our precision drone services help you reduce costs, save time and operate more efficiently.

Built for:

  • Farms dealing with inefficient, drift-prone spraying and soil compaction.

  • Farm that have hard to reach or awkward blocks, less suited for conventional equipment.

  • Farms with crops that can be easily damaged with conventional spraying.

  • Horticultural sites that struggle with shading and require an alterative approach.

  • Greenhouses and polytunnels where manual roof work is slow, risky and costly

  • Solar sites losing performance due to dirt and difficult access

With advanced drone technology, we deliver:

  • Fast coverage — up to 19 hectares per hour.

  • Accurate application with no missed areas.

  • Reduced chemical and water usage

  • Safer operations with zero working at height risk

  • Digital mapping for proof of coverage and compliance

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

SFI26 Drone Delivery Support

Entering or planning SFI26 actions? Apex Agri Systems can help farmers, landowners and agronomists deliver practical land-management work using XAG agricultural drones.

We support seed spreading and application work for awkward field corners, margins, buffer strips, pollen and nectar mixes, winter bird food areas, herbal leys, legume fallow and other agreed SFI-related establishment tasks.

Drone delivery can reduce ground pressure, improve access to wet or difficult areas, and help complete work accurately at the right time.

After each job, we can provide useful records including mapped areas, application rates, dates, photos and job sheets to support your evidence file.

SFI does not pay for drones directly — but drone services can help deliver the work required under your agreed SFI actions.

Speak to us before your SFI plan is finalised so drone delivery can be built into your land-management programme.

Carry out applications when ground conditions, crop height or access make conventional machinery difficult

We use agricultural drones to help farmers and land managers carry out spraying, spreading and crop monitoring more efficiently. Drones can be particularly useful where ground conditions are poor, access is difficult, or where avoiding damage to the crop and soil is important.

They also allow applications to be completed quickly when there is only a short weather window available.

Uses Less Water

Drone applications can often be carried out using much lower water volumes than conventional spraying methods, depending on the product and application.

This means less water to transport and handle on site, while still providing accurate coverage where required.

Covers Ground Quickly

Drones can cover large areas efficiently, making them useful when applications need to be completed within a limited weather window.

Depending on the application rate, field layout and site conditions, coverage can be as high as 19 hectares per hour.

No Crop Damage or Soil Compaction

Because the drone operates above the crop, there is no machinery travelling through the field.

This helps avoid crop trampling, soil compaction and additional wheelings, and also means work can often continue when ground conditions are too wet for conventional machinery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are drone operations safe and legal?

Yes. Apex Agri Systems is fully CAA certified and insured. We follow strict safety protocols, including multi-sensor obstacle avoidance and emergency failsafes, ensuring total safety for your land, assets, and staff.

How does the drone spraying process work?

It begins with a digital mapping flight to identify terrain and boundaries. Our autonomous drones then apply treatments at ultra-low volumes with precision nozzles, ensuring uniform coverage with zero crop damage or soil compaction.

What are your rates and minimum job size?

We offer competitive, transparent pricing based on acreage and application type. While we have a minimum job size for operational efficiency, we scale our services for farmers, estate managers, and contractors alike. Contact us for a quote.

Is my field data and mapping kept private?

Absolutely. All mapping and multi-spectral data is encrypted and stored securely. We provide high-resolution mapping outputs exclusively to you, helping you maintain detailed records for compliance and performance analysis.

What is your service area and coverage?

Apex Agri Systems operates nationwide. We specialise in rural agricultural estates, bringing precision technology to hard-to-reach fields, greenhouses, and infrastructure across the country.

What can you apply using drones?

We can apply a wide range of products including:

  • Liquid/Granular fertilisers

  • Biostimulants

  • Pod Stick

  • Cover crops and seeds

  • Shading Agents

  • Cleaning Products

  • Wild Seed and Granular Products up to the size of acorns.

  • Grit and salt spreading

  • Most applications without an approved mapp number

And upon approval we will be able to spray/spread the below:

  • Herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides (subject to regulations)

  • Chemical cleaning products with active biocide agent solution

  • Slug pellets  - COMING SOON !!

Is it more expensive than using a tractor?

While the per-hectare cost can be similar, drones often deliver better overall value by reducing input costs, preventing crop damage, and improving yields. In many cases, the benefits outweigh the cost of the service.

Can you operate in wet conditions?

Yes — one of the key advantages of drones is the ability to operate when ground conditions are too wet for machinery, helping ensure timely application.
