The person behind Apex
Meet Tim Govey.
Founder & drone pilot
With a background in mechanical engineering, design and fabrication, Tim brings a practical understanding of equipment and how it is used on site.
That approach carries through to Apex: understanding the job, checking the site and choosing a suitable application method before work begins.
Based near Melksham, Tim works directly with clients to plan around the crop or structure, access, product requirements and the conditions on the day.
What you can expect

A direct conversation
Speak with the person planning and carrying out the work, from your first enquiry through to the job on site.

A considered approach
We assess the site and the task to understand where a drone can help and what needs to be in place.

Clear expectations

We explain the proposed method, any limitations and what the quote covers, so you can make an informed decision.

The setup behind the service
XAG P100 Pro
Our agricultural drone can be configured for suitable liquid and granular applications, with the setup matched to the material and the task.
More than the flight.
A useful drone service depends on preparation on the ground as well as the aircraft. We plan the setup around the application and the site.
Ground support
On-site preparation, mixing, filling and battery charging form part of the working setup, alongside access and a suitable operating area.
How we operate
Aerial application services are delivered through AutoSpray Systems Ltd as the UAS Operator-of-Record. Each job is subject to site assessment, product suitability and the applicable operating conditions.
Developing practical improvements
Alongside field services, Apex is developing loading and ground support ideas to improve preparation and handling on site. These remain development projects, with further details to follow when ready.
